Memorial Day 2002


Thanks to the generosity of Sadler's Home Furnishings, The Memorial Day Open Chess Tournament will be held at the University Center Mall (see map below). The tournament will be a 6 round, USCF rated (membership required and available on site), Swiss event. All games are played at game in 90 minutes. Swis-Sys Version 4.13, USCF Official Software, will be used for pairings and tiebreakers (should they occur). 100% of entry fees will be returned as prize money. Trophies and Class prizes dependent on entries.
	Dates and Game Schedule: Saturday, May 25 Registration: 10:00 a.m. - 10:50 a.m. Round 1, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Round 2, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, May 26 Round 3, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Round 4, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 27 Round 5, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Round 6, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Closing Ceremony 6:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Entry Fees: Adult $25, Youth $20 (ages 15-19), Scholastic $15 (age 14 and under), Senior $20 (age 65 and over), Military $20. Take $5 off for advanced entries. Our expected number of entrant's ranges between 15 - 30 with all age groups represented. This is intended to be a FINAL announcement for the event.
