This is the first of three planned Denker Benefit Tournaments to be held over the summer!!
There will be no cash prize funds and only minimal trophies awarded as all proceeds will go toward our Denker Fund. If you would like to make a donation toward the Denker Fund you may do so at the tournaments or through the link above. The ACL will pay the USCF rating fees for these events.

Where: The tournament will be held at Christ’s Lutheran Church in Soldotna
What:
Rated 4- Round Swiss Game/60 (Round 4 will be Game/90)
Schedule: We will have a one-day and a two day schedule to make it easier for those in Anchorage to participate. Re-Entries into the one-day schedule are allowed for a $5.00 fee.

Friday, June 10th - Registration 7:00 - 7:30p.m.

Round 1 7:30 - 9:30p.m

Saturday, June 11th - G/10 Rated Blitz Tourney (9:00-10:30)

Round 2 11:00a.m. - 1:00p.m

Round 3 1:30 - 3:30p.m

Round 4 4:00 - 7:00p.m (G/90)

This year, Alaska's High School qualifier for the 2005 Denker Tournament of High School Champions is Ryan Cassidy. Ryan is a mainstay in Alaska Chess and has been both successful and active in tournament chess for many years. We are proud of Ryan’s accomplishments and pleased to assist him in his expenses for the Denker tourney being held in Phoenix this August.
